Bella Creative Agency | Grand Opening | Coconut Cafe - Terranora
It has that genuine warmth of your 'local' but with style and taste. Being an ex-Byronite (aka: Snobby Byron Girl) I miss the 'fabulousness'. When Tweed City isn't enough and Kirra or Kingscliff is too busy (or wet!). I've been searching for somewhere I can 'steal' internet, have a coffee meeting, order a pretentious meal (REAL Almond milk!!!!) and have plenty to snap on Instagram. I was in heaven!

Interview + Lifestyle Content Production | Essential Oils

Bella Creative Agency was a proud sponsor of the 2017 Business Excellence Awards in Tweed Shire (BEATS Awards) and gifted all the winners a production gift voucher! Rebecca was starting her Essential Oils journey as her ‘side gig’. Like most working mothers we hustle – creative, ambitious and caring. I designed a portrait session that was a little “Business head shots” with a little “Editorial” and “Campaign”. Enough beautiful content for her to use for social media, print media, marketing and plenty more.

Brief description of you and your business?

I’m Bec Higgins a wellness advocate of dōterra essential oils. I am a mum of a wonderful daughter and wife to an amazing supportive man. I was born in Byron Bay and now live in beautiful Pottsville with my family. My past jobs have included hairdressing, pharmacy assistant and banking.

How did you start your business?

Having grown up in Byron I was familiar with essential oils but it wasn’t until this year a friend of mine introduced me to dōterra essential oils. I started to use them on a daily basis to help support me physically and emotionally, I was blown away how amazing and powerful they were. I am so incredibly grateful I have these oils in my life.

My passion is to empower others to learn about and use essential oils in their daily lives to support their own and their famil

y’s health and live a healthy life as naturally as possible.

What inspired you?

The co-impact sourcing was another important part of my initial decision to build a dōterra business after reading about how ethically the oils are sourced and the commitment to reducing poverty in developing countries through this sourcing model. I feel incredibly proud to be a representative of dōterra and be part of this movement changing lives all over the world.

What are you excited about in your business this year?

I am super excited about the new oils that released at convention this year The yoga and meditation kit, jasmine touch, rose touch, Neroli touch, Siberian fir, Blue Tansy and Copaiba oil!!!

Inspirational quote: Choose Love Over Fear

“I believe that every single event in life happens is an opportunity to choose love over fear.”

Oprah Winfrey

Quote: A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often dream big, laugh a lot and realize how blessed you are.

How do you juggle business and children? Do you have any tips for other Mothers?

I would encourage other mothers to read Brenē Brown Daring Greatly – How the courage to be vulnerable transforms the way we live, love, parent and lead.

I also believe having a heart full of gratitude and focusing on positives in your business really works some magic.
It’s not always easy to do and there are always challenges, but if we continue to come back to focusing on the good and feeling grateful for all the good in our lives and our business. I truly believe more and more good is attracted to us.
