Grand Opening | Coconut Coffee House – Terranora
Spring is upon us! I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of Coconut Coffee House, Terry & Catherine. Coconut Coffee House is officially OPEN for business! It’s coastal chic. It’s exactly what the Tweed Shire desperately needs. It’s Byron Bay meets Melbourne. Perfectly styled by Catherine herself. There is something new to discover at every turn. Peacock chairs + convertible VW – yes please! The girls behind the counter had genuine smiles and hugs were flying around. What a vibe!
It has that genuine warmth of your ‘local’ but with style and taste. Being an ex-Byronite (aka: Snobby Byron Girl) I miss the ‘fabulousness’. When Tweed City isn’t enough and Kirra or Kingscliff are too busy (or wet!), where am I supposed to go? I’ve been searching for somewhere I can ‘steal’ internet, have a coffee meeting, order a pretentious meal (REAL Almond milk!!!!) and have plenty to snap on Instagram. I was in heaven!
Ladies and Gentleman… Tradies and Mothers… take a detour 2 minutes from the M1 to Terranora (Back of Banora Point / Tweed Heads) to The Pavilions Marketplace. If you are a local – it’s in that ’empty’ shopping centre next to Terranora school? Yeah you know the one, you drive past everyday! Well…. it’s going to be the NEXT BIG THING on the East Coast!
I think I just found my new local.
